Technology Refresh “Digital Backbone”

The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking innovative Digital Backbone software solutions to modernize the network architecture of MV and CV variants of the V-22 Osprey. The intent is to enable rapid integration of third-party applications and capabilities without modifying the mission avionics software, reducing reliance on traditional OEM integration and accelerating the delivery of new functionalities to the fleet. Desired solutions should support open standards like FACE, utilize scalable and cyber-resilient architecture, and be compatible with the V-22’s current Ethernet infrastructure and mission computers.
