Summary

Rhode Island College is seeking proposals for a cloud-based menu and food management system to support its dining services operations, including a central food court, retail dining, and campus catering. The system will provide comprehensive management of recipes, menus, costing, nutrition, production, and promotional communications. The system must support menu planning by location, multi-day scheduling, recipe management with batch scaling, unit standardization, and tagging capabilities. 
Additional Requirements: 
  • Compliance with FERPA and data privacy regulations
  • Vendor must be US-based (no offshore processing)
  • Completion of the HECVAT security assessment and SOC 2 Type 2 audit report required
  • Insurance as per Rhode Island College procurement regulations
