Summary

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of Unicam fiber optic connectors (brand: Corning, or equivalent if approved through testing). This will be a one-year contract beginning October 27, 2025, with two optional one-year renewals.

Products include LC, SC, and ST high-performance connectors in various configurations (OM1, OM2, OM3 multimode).
Approximate quantities include 2,000+ LC connectors, 1,200+ OM1 LC connectors, and additional ST/SC connectors.
Vendors quoting alternative brands must submit samples for evaluation by LADWP’s engineering group.
Expenditures under this contract shall not exceed $5,000,000 annually.
Local Business Preference Program (LBPP) incentives may apply.
