Firebird Encoders, 5G Modems, and Videosoft Annual 2 Stream Gateway Software

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Security Products International, LLC (Charlotte, NC) for 25 Firebird Encoder 5G modems and 50 Videosoft Annual 2 Stream Gateway Software subscriptions (12 months). This equipment will provide secure, mobile video transmission capabilities. Although identified as a sole-source under FAR 13.5 simplified acquisition procedures, vendors that believe they can meet the government’s requirements are invited to submit capability statements by the deadline.
