Station Network Maintenance And Technical Support Services

The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) is seeking proposals for a firm to provide ongoing management and technical support for its existing Station Network (SSN). This includes maintaining network equipment for data, voice, and video transmission from station devices (such as Ticket Vending Machines, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and real-time signs) to the SMART Data Center via the fiber optic backbone. The vendor will also manage Cisco SmartNet licensing and maintain point-to-point VPN connections to fare collection vendor facilities.
