Summary
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) is issuing a Sources Sought notice to identify vendors capable of providing a new Digital Slide Scanner System for its Pathology Lab. This system is required to replace aging, unsupported equipment and must be capable of creating digital copies of tissues on glass slides for sharing and publication, as well as providing image analysis for quantitative data collection. The requirement also includes a service contract, training, and compatibility with the NCTR network and the existing Leica Aperio ScanScope database.
