The US Coast Guard is issuing an RFI for market research on improving Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) in Sector San Francisco through a technical assessment of existing systems including remote sensors, radio/AIS equipment, voice communications, and maritime control systems. Respondents must provide a zero-cost port assessment, proposed turnkey transformation plan for replacement sensors, VHF transceivers, network connections, VTS command center interfaces, sustainment, and training—all compliant with IALA standards—plus a tech demo and ROM costs to government and industry partners.
