Electronic Tax Preparation and Transmission Software/Maintenance (Updated)

The IRS seeks electronic tax preparation software and maintenance services to enable volunteer preparers to complete accurate tax returns and securely transmit them to the IRS and state agencies. The software must be compliant with IRS e-file standards, operate out-of-the-box with minimal configuration, and support diverse users across approximately 12,000 worldwide locations. The contract includes a base year and multiple option years extending through 2031.
