Request for Information Regarding Industry's Capabilities and Related Experience to Modernize the GPS-S

The US Marine Corps Systems Command is conducting market research to modernize the Global Positioning System-Survey (GPS-S), a fielded survey system used by Marine Artillery Sensor Sections. The current system consists of commercial off-the-shelf components, custom GPS encrypted receivers, and Trimble Business Center software that enables Marines to provide timely and accurate survey information in rugged and urban terrain during expeditionary operations. This RFI seeks information about industry capabilities and experience to modernize this GPS-based survey system.
