Artificial Intelligence and Next Generation Distributed Command and Control

This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeks white papers on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and next-generation distributed Command and Control (C2) capabilities for the Department of the Air Force to enhance battlespace assessment, planning, and force direction in distributed environments. Focus areas include novel AI applications for Joint All Domain C2, battle management, adversary AI considerations, and agile distributed C2 systems. Total funding is approximately $99M with multiple awards anticipated through FY28 via procurement contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, or other transactions.
