Digital Intermediate Frequency System

The US Army's Product Manager Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (PdM WESS) is issuing an RFI to identify qualified systems integrators for engineering, integrating, testing, and installing a Digital Intermediate Frequency (Digital IF) architecture across up to 18 SATCOM teleport sites worldwide. The solution focuses on establishing a flexible, modular, standards-based Digital IF ground segment to enhance DoD SATCOM resilience, scalability, interoperability, and support for Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) operations. Vendors with experience in SATCOM modems, terminals, DIFI/VITA standards, Digital IF deployment, and teleport installation/maintenance are encouraged to respond with capabilities in equipment, software, integration, and logistics support.
