Summary
The Army is conducting market research for a competitive procurement of Software Training System Services via a Training as a Service (TaaS) Synthetic Small Arms Simulation System. The system will train Soldiers in combat marksmanship, threat recognition, cognitive drills, eye tracking, and human performance using synthetic weapons powered by compressed air at McGregor Range, New Mexico. It incorporates advancements in cognitive neuroscience, sports reaction training, learning theory, and motivation.
